IT Services Review
Make IT work for you, not the other way round
|
|
Information Technology (IT) is key to many businesses these days. Can you imagine a day without email, the internet, ordering systems, contact management and accounts systems?
Often, these services have evolved over a number of years, through different initiatives implemented alongside existing services. The result: A service that works well but could work better.
Our Service Management Review is an assessment of how your organisation uses and manages Information Technology. Our clear, independent advice is provided in a non-technical language to give you the confidence to make informed decisions and significantly improve the IT Services within your business.

|
We have over 20 years experience in managing IT services, with major customers through global outsourcers. Our experience and knowledge will allow you to refine and improve your own services to maximise your investments.
We use the Partnered Solutions foundation approach, ‘The Power of Three’, by focusing on three key areas of your Information Technology solution.
|
|
|
- Your Services – How are they setup, how are they managed, how do they align with your business goals and strategies.
- Your Suppliers – How well are they achieving the services you contracted them for, how well are they achieving your targets.
- Your People – How well are they managing, controlling and developing your IT, your suppliers and your people.
|
- IT aligned with Business Strategy.
- Effectively Managed Suppliers.
- Risks Identified and Mitigated.
- Effective and Efficient Staff.
- Overall – Improved Service and managed costs.

Solution
We are often contacted by an IT Director, Head of Operations, or CEO.
Following an initial consultation, we agree the scope of the review. It may be the wider organisation, or specific to the IT side of your business. Other times, we focus on specific projects, programmes or departments.
|
Using our 10 point review process, we agree with you the key areas to focus on. Much of our time is spent talking to your people, whether individuals or in groups, reviewing your processes and observing how work is done.
The time to do this will of course vary, depending on the scope and scale of the assignment.
We will keep you informed of progress during the review. When the review is complete, we will prepare the recommendations and present them in detail at the final meeting.
Working with you, we will highlight areas for improvement and identify short, medium and long term actions. Some of these you will take forward yourselves, others may benefit from our assistance.
We can then work with you to agree a Service Improvement Plan, incorporating an implementation plan, timescales, review points and most importantly Success Criteria.
